Stakeholders Engagement Workshop for Africa Multilateral Infrastructure and Climate Change Summit

Monday 28 - Wednesday 30 April, 2025 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
| GMT+1 West Africa Time |

This workshop underscores Osun State’s commitment to advancing climate adaptation, renewable energy solutions, and green economic growth, reinforcing Nigeria’s leadership in the global effort against climate change.

As part of strategic preparations for AICIS 2025, the Osun State Government is hosting a high-level Stakeholders Engagement Workshop aimed at equipping participants with the necessary tools to maximize opportunities at the Africa Multilateral Infrastructure, Climate Change, and Green Investment Summit.

Recognizing the urgent need for climate-smart investment portfolios and bankable green energy projects, a consortium of global consultants has been engaged to support participating State Governments, Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs), Private Sector Entities, and Multilateral Organizations. Their role is to provide expert guidance in structuring investment-ready climate initiatives, thereby enhancing access to international climate finance and foreign direct investments (FDI).

These sessions will ensure that all participants are adequately prepared to leverage the summit for sustainable infrastructure development, green energy investments, and climate resilience financing.

This workshop underscores Osun State’s commitment to advancing climate adaptation, renewable energy solutions, and green economic growth, reinforcing Nigeria’s leadership in the global effort against climate change.
